Urfa Kalesi

Şanlıurfa Castle, or Urfa Castle for short, is a castle overlooking the center of Şanlıurfa, Turkey. The castle was built by Osroene in antiquity. The existing walls of the castle were built by the Abbasids in 814 AD. The castle functions as an open-air museum today.
