Kasımiye Madrasa is a madrasah in Mardin. The construction of the madrasa, which was started during the Artukid period, was left unfinished due to the Mongol attacks during the Timurid period, and was completed at the end of the 15th century, during the reign of Akkoyunlu sultan Kasım ibn Cihangir.

Kasımiye Madrasa is a madrasah in Mardin. The construction of the madrasa, which was started during the Artukid period, was left unfinished due to the Mongol attacks during the Timurid period, and was completed at the end of the 15th century, during the reign of Akkoyunlu sultan Kasım ibn Cihangir. Madrasah was one of the most important education centers of the region when it was teaching. It is known that in the 16th century it was the madrasah with the most financial resources in Mardin. It was closed during World War I. It is also home to two mosques, a tomb and a fountain. According to rumors, Kasım Pasha was murdered here. According to rumors, the iwan of Kasımiye Madrasa, when Kasım Pasha's sister died, smeared his bloody shirt on the walls of this iwan accompanied by laments, and when water was poured on those walls, blood traces on the wall were still visible, and it is said that the blood traces on the walls belonged to them.
