If you want to do more than just walk in and grab a few shots with your camera, we recommend a small group tour. We’ve done it and it’s well worth it. An expert will teach you about ancient Roman history, architecture, sport and little known facts that make the Colosseum come alive as you walk through it. You can also combine it with the guided tour of the Forum or Palatine Hill.

- Priority access lets you waltz past famously long ticketing queues and begin your descent into Roman history.
- Stand in the spot where gladiator fights once took place, and get a front-row seat to the bloody past of Rome.
- If you choose an afternoon slot to visit the Colosseum, you will not have enough time to visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill on the same day. If you wish to end your visit on the same day, please arrange your visit to the Colosseum accordingly!
- Guests have a flexible entrance to the Palatine and Forum at any time during their selected activity date. The tickets for the Palatine and Forum will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the time printed on the ticket for added flexibility.
- Note that there are 2 entrances: One for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.
- You MUST carry a valid ID or passport with you and present it at the time of entry if requested. Should you fail to do so, venue authorities may deny you entry and such instances are not liable for reschedules or refunds.
- The tour involves a fair amount of walking, hills, and stairs; as such we recommend wearing comfortable attire and suitable walking shoes.
- Bring along your earphones for the best audio experience.
- Free entry for EU and non-EU citizens under 18 requires prior timeslot selection.
