Ahmet Arif Literature Museum is a museum located in Sur district of Diyarbakır. The museum is dedicated to Diyarbakir-born poet Ahmed Arif and became operational in 2011. The 120-year-old mansion, where the museum is located, was expropriated and restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and allocated in the name of Ahmed Arif. Arif's personal belongings, his handwritten poems and photographs of many poets who grew up in the Southeast are exhibited in the museum. The museum, which has a plan with six rooms and a courtyard, has a library of approximately 2,500 books. The museum is also located right next to the house where Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı was born and which is now a museum.
